Related Grades (PPA)
Ultramid® Advanced N3HG6 is a 30% glass-fiber reinforced PPA grade. Compared to N3HG5 it offers higher stiffness and strength, and is optimized for high-temperature structural parts targeting metal replacement.
Ultramid® Advanced N3HG5 is a 25% glass-fiber reinforced PPA grade. It offers higher heat resistance than PA66 (HDT/A 280°C) plus excellent chemical resistance, suited for under-the-hood components and high-temperature electrical/electronic parts.
Advanced N is BASF’s PPA (polyphthalamide) grade. It delivers best-in-class heat and chemical resistance, suited for extreme-environment parts such as surgical instrument handles.
