What are the lead times for product orders?

AT Polymer supplies BASF engineering plastics using a Make-To-Order (MTO) approach to ensure quality.

Basic order schedule (production lead time):
- M-2 order (2 months before delivery): Korea production
- M-3 order (3 months before delivery): BASF overseas sites (Germany, USA, China, Malaysia, etc.)

Additional logistics after production:
- Korea: No additional time
- East/Southeast Asia: +approximately 2 weeks
- North America (USA, Canada, Mexico): +approximately 5 weeks

Lead times may vary. Pre-coordination with our sales team is recommended.

Is a Certificate of Analysis (COA) provided at product shipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All products undergo quality management meeting global standards. Production lot-based COA is provided for all shipments.

This supports your incoming quality control (IQC) and on-site safety management.

What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

Standard grade packaging options: PE bag, Paper bag (pallet unit), large-capacity Octabin, IBC Fiberboard, Flecon bag.

Recommended: 3 tons or more.
Special specs and domestic distribution products: Orders under 3 tons are possible.

Is consulting available for metal-to-plastic replacement?

Accepted Answer

Metal-to-plastic replacement is a core competency of AT Polymer and BASF. It enables weight reduction and significant cost savings through process consolidation.

We analyze your drawings and required material properties (load, heat resistance, chemical resistance, etc.) and recommend optimal material solutions based on ultra-high-strength/high-heat engineering plastics such as high glass fiber content Ultramid®.

Question 7

Is CAE/Moldflow analysis support available at the product design stage?

Accepted Answer

Yes, available through our strategic partnership. Premium engineering analysis solution (Ultrasim®) is provided through the BASF Technical Center.

This minimizes trial and error before mold production. Support is selective based on project scale, commercialization feasibility, and strategic value.
